Review: Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Scrub

I've heard so many good things about Tree Hut's Shea Sugar Body Scrub that tonight I had to try it myself.  I got a full tub of this in my Summer Beauty Cravebox.  I got the Apricot one.  When I opened it I got a strong smell of Apricot so be warned when you open yours up.  It's nice and thick but it's hard to apply with a body scrubbie.  I would put it directly on your body first then use the scrubbie on it.  It feels great scrubbing the skin with it and my skin felt smooth after rinsing it off.

I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get rid of dead skin cells and who wants smoother skin and a great overall showering experience.  I will definitely use this scrub over and over again.

Razor Review: Schick Hydro Silk Razor

Here's a review on the Schick Hydro Silk Razor.  I usually don't do good with any razor except the Schick Silk Effects razor but I decided to give this one a try and boy do I like it!  When I used it for the first time tonight with shaving cream it glided so smoothly over my skin even on the delicate under arm skin and made my skin feel silky smooth.  No nicks or cuts people!  I'm so afraid of nicks and cuts that's why I use the silk effects razor but not anymore.  I have one more razor to review but this one takes the cake, seriously.  I'm glad I kept the coupon for refills because I'm going to be buying some next week for sure.

I would recommend this razor to anyone who wants a smooth shave and smooth skin.  This razor is gentle and effective.  It shaved all the hair on my legs in one stroke.  I'm impressed.

Review: Perfekt Lash Conditioning Gel

I got the Perfekt Lash Conditioning Gel in my final Birchbox.  I liked that it was a primer, lash conditioner and mascara all in one tube.  I got the black color one and I must say it did do wonders for my lashes.  They made them shinier and a little longer.  I would never have thought to prime my lashes before using mascara ever but now I'm a believer.  This lash conditioner I would be interested in keeping around.  I have sensitive eyes and this didn't bother them at all.  It's perfectly safe.

I would recommend this to anyone wanting conditioned lashes, shinier lashes and longer lashes.  It's the perfect package for anyone's lashes.

Skin Care Review: The Body Shop's Seaweed Skin Care Line

I have combination dry to oily skin and I was looking for a skin care line that can meet my needs.  That's when I came across The Body Shop's Seaweed Skin Care Line.  When I first tried it I was like is this really going to work.  Well, it did.  After the first use of the cleanser my skin felt clean, squeaky clean.  The toner makes your skin tingle like it's getting into your pores.  The day cream makes your skin feel nice and smooth and less oily.  I currently don't have the night treatment but that is something I'm going to purchase next year.  The night treatment is good for blemishes and evens out your skin.

Overall, I'm am going to stick with this skin care line and will highly recommend it to anyone who has combination skin and wants cleaner, smoother skin.  This is high on my list of skin care products.

Review: Bath and Body Works Shower Gel

Review Time!  This time it's on the Bath and Body Works shower gel.  I think I got the raspberry vanilla one.  I like the smell of it it smells so fresh and clean and keeps my skin clean and soft.  I like that it has shea now infused in it to keep skin even softer.  Only problem I have with it is that it's pricey unless you come across a semi-annual sale.

I would recommend this shower gel to everyone that wants clean, good smelling and softer skin.  The bottle is nicely sized and a little goes a long way so use it sparingly and you will still get softer, cleaner skin.

Hair Care Review: Dove Shampoo and Conditioner for Color Treated Hair

Here is a review on Dove shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair.  I usually buy what's on sale and Dove shampoo was 2 for $6 at my local grocery store.  I have tried 2 other brands previously, I think they were Loreal and Garnier, and they were a little on the heavy side conditioner wise.  I love Dove because it's on the lighter side conditioner wise and the conditioner rinses out really well.  The shampoo cleans really well too.  Dove leaves my hair cleaner than any other brand I've tried and my color stands out too.

I think I'm going to stick with Dove, sale or no sale, even though it's 4 something a bottle.  I would pay more for cleaner hair that's just my opinion.

Julep Maven October Box and Review

I just got my October Julep Maven box in the mail plus my add on and it's in character with Halloween.  First in my box I got a bag of candy corn, then two glitter pots, one orange and one black.  Then it was on to the black bag that held the product and polish.  First I pulled out the quick dry polish drops which work like a charm. I put them on my nails and the polish literally dried in seconds. Next were the nail polishes. First up is Eloise which is a smokey blue creme which is a beautiful blue which is similar to Michelle except Michelle is darker. Eloise looks great on my nails. Next is Sabrina, the orange shimmer crackle. It started crackling the minute I put it on my nails and the finished product looks great. Now on to my add on. I got Leslie which is a black with silver shimmer. I got it specifically to wear on Halloween with Sabrina over the top. It's going to look so cool. Overall this month's box was very good and I'm looking forward to next month's box.
